Brighouse South
The end of the line, in a good way
Brighouse is the southern terminus of the Canada Line, which makes this one of the few places in Richmond where a car is genuinely optional. City Hall, the public library and Richmond Centre are all within a short walk of the station.
Minoru Park is the anchor — sports fields, the lakes, and the Minoru Centre for Active Living with its pool and rink. It is the reason a lot of families choose this side of the city centre.
Housing is overwhelmingly apartment, from 1990s low-rise through to recent concrete. Prices per square foot are usually below the comparable Vancouver figure, which is what draws first-time buyers and downsizers alike.
